The Social Change Model (SCM) of Leadership Development was established in 1996 by the Higher Education Research Institute at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA).
The Social Change Model has 7 C's that we have included in our foundation. The Seven Cs:

Citizen Leader supports the development of leadership qualities in all participants [students] -- those who hold formal leadership positions and those who do not. We view leadership as a process that is inclusive and actively engages all who wish to contribute.
