The College of Graduate Studies and Research (CGSR) prepares students for professional careers in a wide range of programs, from the traditional arts and sciences to education to the applied health sciences, but all of them belong to the same University-wide community of knowledge.
The Graduate College has evolved to address the needs of both working adult students and full-time student scholars by offering challenging and enriching learning opportunities through classes offered in a variety of mediums and locations. The Graduate College features 26 master鈥檚 degrees, seven doctoral programs and many post bachelor鈥檚 certificates.聽 With a presence in Radford, Roanoke, Higher Education Centers across Southwest Virginia and virtual learning environments, graduates from the College of Graduate Studies and Research develop the critical competencies and professional skills to serve them well in their academic and professional careers.
