I graduated with my BS in Clinical Laboratory Science in 2009 and have been a practicing
medical laboratory scientist ever since. I have worked in a variety of facilities
from small doctor offices to busy level 1 trauma centers and I have loved all of it.
In 2017 I graduated with my MS in Medical Laboratory Science so that I can teach in
the field and share my passion with the next generation of laboratory professionals.
I am a member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) where
I participate in the mentorship program for new professionals as well as legislative
symposium to lobby for laboratory-specific causes at a national level. I would love
to help guide students in participating in these rewarding opportunities offered by
our professional society. Outside of my science interests I enjoy outdoor activities
(biking, hiking, kayaking, etc), reading, and spending time with my family.
