Landon Hinton, a proud 2013 graduate of 澳门老奇人论坛, knows exactly how the university shaped his journey. Now living in Richmond, Virginia, Hinton serves as a principal at 7 Hills Advisors, a thriving commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant and buyer representation. His roots at Radford provided him not just with academic credentials but with a toolkit for building connections and navigating the business world with confidence.

A double major in marketing and management with a concentration in entrepreneurship and international affairs, Hinton was drawn to the endless possibilities in business. "Radford provided me every opportunity to succeed," he said. 鈥淚 feel like I have, but I still feel like there鈥檚 a lot more to go.鈥

It was at Radford that he discovered the power of relationships鈥攁 skill he believes has been the cornerstone of his career. 鈥淣o matter what you do, whether you're working for corporate, being an entrepreneur, or doing what I do and buying into a firm, it all comes down to relationships,鈥 he said.

Two years ago, Hinton took a bold step forward, becoming a part-owner of his firm. This milestone required not only leadership but also a deep understanding of the behind-the-scenes mechanics of running a business. His Radford education, from mastering sales strategies to building professional networks, equipped him with exactly what he needed.

鈥淭he sales class and networking opportunities at Radford helped me immensely,鈥 he said. 鈥淣etworking with Radford alumni was a top priority for me when I started out. Once you meet one, you meet ten, and then twenty. The Radford alumni community is so strong and welcoming鈥攊t feels like a home away from home.鈥

To this day, he returns to campus several times a year, marveling at its growth while cherishing the close-knit community that shaped him. 鈥淣o matter who the alumni is鈥攐lder or younger鈥攖here鈥檚 always a connection, always stories to share,鈥 he says.

He credits much of his career success to the Highlander network and his Radford experience. 鈥淭he people I鈥檝e met, the alumni I鈥檝e worked with鈥攖hey鈥檝e played such a big role in my journey,鈥 he said. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 what makes me proud to be a Highlander.鈥

For Hinton, the Radford experience wasn鈥檛 just an education鈥攊t was the foundation for a lifelong journey of success, relationships, and Highlander pride.
