Detailed Description of Conduct of Course

This is an online course with synchronous meetings. Learning strategies include lectures, rhetorical analysis, drafting, peer review, group discussions, and analysis of social media and public health messaging.

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

1. interpret data from multiple sources,

2. produce scholarly literature,

3. analyze rhetorical strategies in writing, and

4. demonstrate effective oral, written, and visual communication skills.
