To apply as a freshman student, please submit the following documents:

There are four ways you can meet our English proficiency requirements:
As required by the U.S. government, all international students must submit financial documents as evidence of the ability to pay all tuition, fees and expenses for one full year (less any scholarships). The most common financial documents used as evidence are a bank statement or a bank letter stating the balance on the account. All financial documents must be originals (no faxes, scans or copies will be accepted), in English and no older than six months. If you will be supported by one or more family members or another individual(s), you must also submit an Affidavit of Support for each financial statement submitted. An Affidavit of Support for Dependents is also required for any dependent accompanying you to the USA.
Conditional admission is for undergraduate students who do not have proof of English proficiency or do not meet our minimum proof of English proficiency requirements, but otherwise meet all other admission criteria. Students in this category are admitted to a °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ academic program with the condition (requirement) of completing our Intensive English Program (IEP) prior to taking any academic courses. Once the IEP program is completed, students will be allowed to begin their academic-related courses. No additional application is required. Note: If you are applying for conditional admission, you will be required to complete at least one level (semester) of our Intensive English Program. You will not be able to test out of this program upon arrival.

A prospective student desiring to enter a °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ graduate program should apply using the online application available on the Graduate Admissions website by selecting the °ÄÃÅÀÏÆæÈËÂÛ̳ Now option. All materials must be submitted in English.
Certain programs use a Centralized Application Service (CAS) for submission of application materials. Programs and associated CAS's are listed below.

A non-refundable fee of $50 is required for all graduate degree and certificate programs that is not a CAS program listed above. The application fee varies by CAS program and is also required for admission consideration. There is no application fee required for graduate-level non-degree enrollment eligibility. Application fees must be paid in U.S. dollars and submitted online as part of the application process. An application will not be processed without this fee.
Program specific application requirements must be submitted to supplement all graduate applications. All documents in a language other than English must be accompanied by certified English translations. Translations alone will not be accepted.
In addition to the Supplemental International Student Application [PDF], to have an I-20 prepared, the following documents must be submitted to complete the application process. The I-20 will not be prepared before the application is complete, reviewed by the respective program, and the Office of Graduate Admission has taken favorable action on the application.
International applicants whose native language is not English or have not earned a bachelor's degree or higher from an institution at which English is the primary language of instruction must demonstrate English proficiency prior to admission to the University. Graduate international applicants must submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores if English proficiency is required. Applications may not be reviewed by the departments until English proficiency requirement is met.
A TOEFL minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test or, 79-80 on the Internet-based test is required for admission. A minimum score of 6.5 is required for the IELTS. The minimum required scores for the TOEFL and IELTS are strictly upheld. Applicants who do not achieve a minimum score on either of these English proficiency exams will not be considered for admission. Official scores on the TOEFL or IELTS cannot be more than two years old from the term to which the applicant is applying.
