Radford Safe App

Radford Safe is the official safety app of 澳门老奇人论坛. It is the only app that integrates with 澳门老奇人论坛's safety and security systems. The Department of Public Safety has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the 澳门老奇人论坛 campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources. 

How Radford Safe Works:

  1. Download 鈥淩ADFORD SAFE鈥� in the Apple or Google Play store.
  2. Access the tools and resources customized for 澳门老奇人论坛.

Radford Safe App Features

Mobile Bluelight
Send your location and connect to 澳门老奇人论坛 Police in real-time in case of a crisis.

Work Alone / Study Alone
This feature will automatically check in on you while working or studying alone and can automatically trigger a call to your Personal Contact or Campus Security if you fail to check in at the pre-determined time.

Virtual Police Walk / Friend Walk

  • Virtual Police Walk: Allow 澳门老奇人论坛 Police to monitor a user鈥檚 walk. If a user feels unsafe when walking on campus, they can request a Virtual Police Walk and a dispatcher on the other end will monitor their journey until they reach their destination.
  • Friend Walk: Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device. Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, the user picks their destination and their friend tracks their location in real time; they can keep an eye on them to make sure they make it safely to their destination.

Tip Reporting
Multiple ways to report a safety/security concern directly to 澳门老奇人论坛 Police. Tips can be submitted anonymously to 澳门老奇人论坛 Police.

  • Building List: Click on the name of building you are trying to locate and pull up directions from your location through the app.
  • AED Map: Locate Automated External Defibrillator (AED) around campus.
